Biography 

Dr Aryan Pasikhani, who obtained his PhD from the University of Sheffield, has established distinguished contributions in the realm of cybersecurity research. Following his doctoral studies, he became affiliated with the Security of Advanced Systems Group at the University of Sheffield as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. He has since ascended to the role of Academic Fellow in Cybersecurity at the same esteemed institution.  

Dr. Pasikhani’s scholarly endeavours are underscored by his dedication to producing impactful research in the disciplines of Computer and Network Security. His investigative compass predominantly gravitates towards areas such as intrusion detection and prevention systems, reinforcement learning, machine learning, privacy-preserved machine learning, quantum computing, and the robust security measures inherent in embedded systems.

In addition to his research pursuits, Dr. Pasikhani has been a pivotal member of the Technical Program Committee (TPC). His commitment to advancing academic rigour is evident in his peer review contributions to a slew of prestigious international journals and conferences, notably the IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and the IEEE Sensors Journal.
